MSN-001A1 Delta Plus (High Grade)by ~Draw-Over

Delta Plus is a mobile suit from the Zeta family and features in the Gundam Unicorn OVA. With Waverider capability it can travel at very high speed in space and in the atmosphere. Armed with a beam rifle and various other weapons its a good all round MS. This kit was painted with a custom mix of colours and I tried to get the pic to look as good as the kit does in real life but my phone camera is being difficult. Had to hand paint pretty much the entirety of its armor but the grey inner frame and beam rifle are sprayed with gunmetal which wasn't the Tamiya one and I wish I didn't use it. It gives the kit a matt effect but really hampers the joints.

Delta plus comes in gold? Right? then what version is this guy?

No, Delta is the kit that's in gold. The Delta Gundam was a prototype that, during the Zeta time period, was unworkable and was used by Char as the Hyaku Shiki, which lacked the ability to convert into a waverider form. The Delta Plus was developed by Londo Bell or the EFSF after further advances in technology allowed for engineers to fix the flaws in the original Hyaku Shiki design, and the Delta Plus is the resulting suit. Then, there's the Delta Plus Kai, which is a further improvement to the Delta Plus design.

The naming for the models is a little confusing sometimes if you don't know the UC timeline backwards and forwards.
