I'm not sure if I'm really getting the feeling from art that I used to...its crossed my mind a few times that I need to put some work up. Of course I don't want to be making art just for some form of gratification from others, I want it to be something that I put my soul into and others can have a glimpse of it. It might be art block but when I draw now I just feel like it doesn't give me as much joy whether that's lack of inspiration or just exhaustion, there's no driving force at the moment. It's put me in a bit of a predicament as I want to continue drawing as much but I never want it to be something I do for the sake of doing it. Art is

Farvel...Auf Wiedersehen...Hello :D

I am back from a well deserved holiday and wow what a holiday it was! 2 weeks in two different countries. I met many people and went to many different places. Too much alcohol, coffee and good food was all too wonderful! Of course now I'm back to the real world of work and what not it's time to focus on other more long term goals. I will be uploading some pictures of my travels but alas no drawings as despite getting a new sketchpad I haven't had 5 minutes to sit down and draw to be honest. Back to life drawing and more art of the things that make me feel good.

Super Procrastination Powers GO

You're trying to draw a mythological Chinese Dragon that's also an enormous robot...you're trying to draw a giant sword wielding samurai who's also robot...I'm beginning to see a trend here. But as always drawings just don't turn out how you want them. You have this image in your head and you really want to do it justice...maybe I just need to imagine what it is to look at these objects or people and imagine how they move and act to really get that on paper... Anyway less than 4 weeks til my adventure...I can't wait to get going traveling again and see some amazing but cold places and maybe I'll have some good photo opportunities to share.
